What better way to enjoy Rome than combining sightseeing with food tasting in one unforgettable experience? On this 2.-hour food tour, you’ll taste your way through the city’s most delicious street foods while exploring the impressive sights of historic Rome. As you stroll through the streets, sample zucchini flowers, supplì, pastries, pizza, and much more.
The tour begins in the lively Campo de' Fiori, one of Rome’s most famous market squares. Here you’ll meet your guide and some of the local vendors at their stalls. Enjoy tastings of cheese, cured meats, seasonal fruit, wine, and other regional specialties. From there, head to the Jewish Ghetto and the nearby Theater of Pompey to see Rome’s synagogue and the remains of several ancient Roman buildings.
Along the way, you’ll try some of Rome’s best pizza and the city’s favorite street snack, the supplì—a crispy fried rice ball filled with tomato sauce and mozzarella. Absolutely delicious!
The tour continues to Torre di Largo Argentina, the site of Julius Caesar’s assassination. Nearby, visit a family-run gelateria, meet the owner, and discover how authentic Italian gelato is made—before enjoying a scoop of Rome’s finest.
